Our goal is to change the emotional landscape, for both patients and caregivers and create environments that are optimistic and comforting. In doing this, we can actually affect the way patients, families and caregivers cope with these difficult journeys.

Our inspired artwork is the cornerstone of our success and is created in specialized workshops for the unique needs of healthcare. The process is supported by 15 years of continuous research, monitoring and evaluation to ensure the collection is particularly effective within patient-­care facilities.

There is no questioning the importance of one’s surroundings on the healing and coping process, but many medical facilities simply do not have the resources to create a true “healing” environment. So we create the kind of art that changes the way you feel when you walk into a room, and then provide it to facilities in need.

Walls of Sunshine was born of a hospital stay in 1996 and a promise to an inspiring group of Neurosurgeons. The art now helps to create comforting and healing environments everywhere from Hospitals to Nursing Homes, orphanages, Home-­Care facilities …right through to the tiniest Aids clinic in the deepest corner of Africa.
